"Water Under the Bridge"

In English we have a saying: "That's water under the bridge". It is used when referring to an event or series of events that occurred sometime in the past, but now consequences of these events have no influence on you.

God is referred to as the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, He knows the beginning from the end. This is clear in the bible (Revelation 1:8, 21:6, 22:13). If you believe the bible and how it represents God, it would stand to reason that when Jesus died on the cross and rose again, 2000 years ago, that God knew what we were going to get up to in the year 2010. He saw the mistakes we were going to make, He knew where we would fall short, He knew because He has already been here, now!

Hebrews 10:10 says that " by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all."

Our sins are forgiven: Past, Present and Future, if we put our faith in Jesus. We shouldn't feel hung up about our sins; the revelation of grace and righteousness, under the new covenant compels me to admonish you that:

   IT IS WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE!
